About innovation
Insufficient number of assistants for people with disabilities;
Lack of work and low self-esteem of able-bodied people in crisis of homelessness.
As part of the innovation, it was possible to train and prepare people in crisis of homelessness residing in Jelenia Góra shelters and night shelters to work as dependant peoples' assistants. These people worked in a shelter with care services, providing care services for their dependent colleagues. The beneficiaries first received vocational training in assisted living and then served an internship at the facility.
