Wstecz Body memory of people with dementia
About innovation
The innovation addresses the problem of loss of verbal communication for people with dementia, which leads to their isolation and loneliness, and consequently to a reduction in social contact.
The collaboration takes place between care facilities or other institutions providing services to older people in need of support, the innovators and the instructors running the classes. The implementation of the innovation requires the rental or provision of a room with suitable conditions, the purchase of an Octaband and the training of two instructors. The Octaband is an innovative therapeutic tool that will be used for the first time in Poland during testing by the innovators.
