The nature of innovation

The problem that innovation answers
Traditional internship models in the automotive industry do not meet the needs of employers and students. They work well for clerical and simple blue-collar professions that do not require qualifications or specialist, up-to-date knowledge. Such internships lack a personalised approach to learning skills. Employers cannot fill vacancies with qualified personnel. At the same time, students and graduates look for jobs, but their skill set does not match the job descriptions
How does innovation work?
This internship addresses the lack of qualified personnel in the automotive industry. The proposed model makes it possible to find out educational needs and opportunities of each student and graduate. This is achieved by adapting the internship and training course programs to th results of the competence assessment of each intern and to the needs of the specific employer – the student's skill gaps are identified during the internship. The student can acquire the lacking skills during a summer internship. By including the guilds, the interns can do internships in reputable enterprises where they acquire skills that are in demand on the labor market, and potentially get at the company where they received training.
