The innovation aims to enable wheelchair users to have access to places which are inaccessible to them otherwise, such as mountain trails or uneven roads/gravel paths.

EasyMove is an electrically-powered tracked platform to transport wheelchair users. With the platform, a person with limited mobility will be able to move over surfaces such as sand, stones, snow, gravel or uneven dirt roads and forest paths that are inaccessible to standard wheelchairs. In order to use EasyMove, the wheelchair user should drive their wheelchair onto the platform, lock the wheelchair and use the joystick to control the platform. EasyMove can be easily adapted to wheelchairs of any size. The device is compact in size and does not extend much beyond the outline of a standard wheelchair.
