The innovation addresses the problem of burnout in caregivers of dependent people who struggle with time managemet and carving out time for themselves.
How does innovation work?
The aim of the innovation is to improve the quality of life, knowledge and well-being of caregivers of elderly dependants. The support provided under the 'Package of respite care' covers three areas: psychology, education as well as rehabilitation and health. It includes support group activities, first aid training, a course on how to take care of a patient at their home, diagnostic tests and rehabilitation and medical treatments for the caregiver. In addition to specific knowledge, the innovation recipients gain motivation and strength to care for an elderly dependant, and at the same time they are able to take care of their own needs and learn how to relax.

Results achieved as a result of testing
Caregivers of elderly dependants benefited from the comprehensive service provided under the project. As indicated by participants, the project is engaging, tailored to their needs and it provides real support for caregivers of elderly dependants.
