The innovation addresses the lack of awareness among people with disabilities and their caregivers on how to travel efficiently using the railway
How does innovation work?
The innovation “Learning the railway track by track” is a two-day workshop to provide people with disabilities with information on the railway transportation in Poland. They also include practical activities such as travel planning and buying tickets, using multimedia tools and a field trip to a railway station. We plan to provide each participant with a tablet with the necessary apps installed and money to purchase train tickets using the app so that after the workshop they would be able to complete a journey by train on their own

Results achieved as a result of testing
The participants of the workshop completed a journey by train on their own. The participants learned how to use the mobile app to purchase tickets. Most participants expressed positive opinions about the workshops.
