About innovation

The nature of innovation
Produkt
The problem that innovation answers
The project aims to remove the barriers willing individuals face in the development of soft skills (e.g. creativity) - no access to helpful free of charge trainings, the need to travel to remote locations, which not everyone can afford.
How does innovation work?
The innovation model employs a new method of teaching self-presentation using workshop techniques but made available online. Older recipients have the chance to improve skills that were not in high demand a few decades earlier, while people with disabilities, often with limited mobility, can participate in training that would have not been accessible to them otherwise. The participants have access to a free website and use it as they please. “Praesenti” includes three developmental tracks: - Verbal track – what do you say? - Non-verbal track – how do you speak? - Own track – you work on your own presentation.
Who is the innovation for?
– Small business owners; – Young researchers; – people wishing to be more mobile on the labor market (older people, people with disabilities),
Who can implement the innovation?
Individuals and institutions willing to teach the self-presentation online.
Products resulting from testing
Creating developmental tracks available to the website users (including training materials and instructions) – the users learn self–presentation based on this method; – Developing a method of evaluating soft skills by the website users and experts – experts and users can evaluate other users’ presentations; – Developing a method of monitoring the relevance of the user feedback – a method allowing peer–to–peer selection of the feedback (all users are equal and have the same rights); –10 videos posted on the portal (duration: 1 to 5 minutes); –10 instructions accompanying the videos to explain how to make similar videos; –10 pieces of information accompanying the videos that form the knowledge base for the development of soft skills for the user's developmental track; – Ready–to–use website; – An instruction manual for the website; – An instruction manual for the model;
Results achieved as a result of testing
Users were provided with an innovative tool to improve their soft skills, giving them the chance to learn online.
Has the innovation been selected for dissemination?
