This innovation addresses the low self-reliance of people with disabilities and the issue of caregiver overload
How does innovation work?
This social innovation involves providing transitional housing where people with disabilities could live and become more independent and resourceful. An assistant will provide the necessary support and ensure the safety of the partcipant in their new home. This innovation is intended for people with disabilities who are not resourceful and independent enough because of their overprotective parents. Parents participating in the innovation will receive individual and group counseling.
