The problem that innovation answers
People with disabilities often cannot deal with challenging situations by themselves and it is not limited to their professional life.
How does innovation work?
The innovation includes three equal forms of support: support groups, coaching and workshops. The support group involves creating a network of people supporting one another professionally and mentally as they are in a similar situation on the labor market. The group should meet approx. twice a month for a period of six months. The coaching aims to strengthen self-reliance in a person with disabilities and motivate them by relying on their own resources and the coach's faith in their ability to cope with the challenges of the labor market. The coaching should take six months and involve 6-8 meetings. The workshops allow the participants improve their skills and competences that help find and keep a job. The workshop topics address the needs of the participants. A maximum of 4 workshop days is recommended. The workshop leader should be a person with a disability.
