The innovation addresses the difficulties dependent people and their caregivers face concerning activities of daily living, e.g. scheduling an medical appointment, doing the shopping, cleaning the windows. This is in part due to their reluctance to ask for help.
How does innovation work?
The app SOS HOMINI was developed as part of the innovation to facilitate communication between dependants (or their caregivers) and volunteers who provide simple care services. The app SOS HOMINI is an intuitive and easy-to-use app for smartphones with the Android operating system. All you need to do is install the app and create an account in order to fully take advantage of its functionality. The app can be personalised to adapt it to the preferences of individual users.
