A mentoring program that applies the cooperation model involving an employer and a vocational school. It aims to prepare students for their first job, taking into account the current job market situation and the employers' needs.

The lack of cooperation between vocational schools and employers, and insufficient measures employed by the current system to support the students in choosing their career path.
How does innovation work?
Shifting the focus of vocational education to prepare the students for joining the labor force taking into account the condition of the labor market and the employers' needs. Thanks to such cooperation, it is easier for vocational schools graduates to get a job, while the employers are able to hire a skilled employee who is well prepared for the role. Both the model itself and the specific action programs were developed as a result of the collaboration between local businesses and the vocational school in Tomaszów Lubelski.

Students of 1st and 2nd level vocational schools

Businesses, especially medium-sized and large ones, actively seeking employees and 1st and 2nd level vocational schools

A document called "A model of cooperation between an employer and a vocational school". The study which was produced as part of the innovation consists of the following modules: 1. A scholarship program 2. Mentoring and job testing 3. A program – students' awareness of industry trends 4. A program - be an engineer! 5. A program – volunteering is your chance to find a job 6. A program – an open company 7. A program – a summer job
