The problem that innovation answers
Dependants and their parents or caregivers often cannot afford to consult a dietician, thus they do not know the curative effect of proper diet adapted to the needs of a person with a disability and/or chronically ill person. Additionally, the parents and caregivers of these people are often so focused on caring for their dependants that they forget to take care of their own health.
How does innovation work?
The model includes lectures, webinars and workshops on the impact of nutrition on the quality of life and the health of children with disabilities. During the training, parents and caregivers learn how to cook or use specific produce. The innovation recipients will also learn about natural health support methods, such as herbal medicine or heat stimulation. ‘Eat Your Way to Health’ combines academic knowledge with natural and alternative medicine.
