The innovation addresses the problems that stop adults from actively participating in lifelong learning: – lacking awareness of the need to continuously improve one’s qualifications; – inability to plan one's educational and professional career; – lacking awareness of new professions and opportunities; – insufficient use of new technologies.
How does innovation work?
“Win Your Future” is an innovative, multi-level board game with Augmented Reality elements, selected online resources and real-world challenges. The project aims to encourage target groups to deliberately plan their own professional development. The game is intended to show the recipients how to focus on opportunities instead of barriers and to encourage them to take action in order to exploit these opportunities. The innovation combines gamification, community support mechanisms, adult learning principles identified by the American adult educator Malcolm Knowles and new information and communication technologies. The innovation includes three levels: - WHO AM I? - The first level is a card game. Using the Power Cards, the players arrange the image of themselves. - DREAM PROJECT - Using a smartphone or tablet, the players access an augmented reality where they can observe creatures and objects in the world of the future while completing a special task. - SIX CHALLENGES - The game is no longer about a board and pawns, it becomes an individual game played using the app. Each day for seven consecutive days, the player is assigned a challenge in the real world by the app.
